I have never thought deeply about those words before. Thanks for giving me pause for thought.
And thanks for telling me Kate! Sometimes knowing the words too well robs us of the privilege of getting to know the words and their meaning. I thought up an experiment reading the Bible this way, every day I read a chapter and then I post a verse that puzzles me or makes me think ( very often like: really?) and not necessarily what is the acknowledged interesting or official theological main point of that chapter. I do not comment with anything else than a recent picture and a question. As with carols, new thoughts arise. Interesting! Solveig
